You may notice that your system’s output is a different figure on your BC Hydro bill than what is shown on your EMA Monitoring App. The reason for the discrepancy is that BC Hydro only measures the energy that crosses the boundary of your meter (the grid). They have no way of measuring the solar energy you generated and immediately used within your home, without additional equipment being installed.
